A woman who went viral in social media for racist remarks against OFWs explained in a Facebook post that someone else uses her photos and name to ruin her reputation.

It all started when "Rose" (not her real name) tried to explain and enlighten netizens especially OFWs why Bureau of Customs suggested to have a stricter rules for Balikbayan boxes.

"Rose" who wanted to explain how it all started was criticized instead of being understood by netizens.

Days after, Facebook pages bearing her name was created. The page posted something unethical saying that the OFWs were not using their heads.

As of writing, this post has gained more than 25 thousand shares in social media.

Following this, a friend of her explained that the page of "Rose" posting unethical message does not belong to the REAL "Rose".

She also posted using a different account explaining her side.

On her post, she publicly apologized regarding her post trying to explain why BoC was eyeing to implement a stricter rules for Balikbayan boxes.

She also said that a certain Facebook page bearing her name doesn't belong to her and just a fake account ruining her reputation online and her life.
