Staff at Women'sNet are buzzing around, for the last bit of organising before our workshop. 23 girls and 7 mentors from around the country will be joining us for a "Girls against Violence" learning event and tonight we will welcome them with a braai (or barbecue!).
From the 7th to the 12th of December, the girls will be setting their own agenda, and discussing issues that they identify as important. They will speak to the media and other stakeholders at a public event on Monday, and they will produce a newsletter, highlighting their experiences of, and opinions about violence. We will also be taking back the tech, through discussions, dialogue and action!
