This campaign video features thoughts and perspectives of women and met at the AWID 2008 forum – the largest event of its kind that brings together women's rights movements from around the world to set collective agendas.

Armed with a video camera and questions, we roamed the corridors and asked provocative questions on the connections of technology, violence against women and women's rights.

Very good article. I was

Very good article. I was recently blogging on The Netflix Prize, which deals with the quality of the recommendation. However, conclusions are drawn primarily off of user ratings. People don't seem to bother rating on facebook, I know I don't. I wonder what correlations exist there...

keep your chats exactly that

hi ijahnya,

i find the campaign that women'snet is doing, keep your chats exactly that, is a great approach to working with kids towards a safer and more empowering online experience. it empowers young people on how to recognise what is their limits and boundaries when it comes to online communication, and how to demand for their right to respect and privacy. and is something that we can all learn together to do as well :)

Seeking material for parents

Greetings from the Eastern Caribbean island of Anguilla Can anyone recommend material that can help parents whose children know more about ICTs than they do? How can parents be helped to monitor and supervise preventively? One Love Ijahnya Christian While it's great to be black and beautiful - it's even better to be black and beautiful and prepared.
