Nodo Tau es una asociación civil sin fines de lucro integrada por profesionales de la informática y las comunicaciones, educadores y militantes sociales, dedicados a facilitar el acceso a las nuevas tecnologías de la Información a organizaciones comunitarias de la región (organizaciones barriales, eclesiales, de género, ambientales, cooperativas, grupos de base, escuelas, centros comunitarios), para fortalecer su acción institucional y que a la vez dinamicen la comunicación y organización entre todos los sectore

Retome a tecnologia is a Brazilian campaign for activism, awareness-raising and appropriation of ICTs for the end of violence against women, inspired by Take Back the Tech.
AZUR Developpement
As part of the 16 Days of Activism for fighting against violence we are preparing in the period from November 25 to December 10 2008 two activities in Pointe-Noire (the second city of Congo):
We will do a competition with children in a school on how to fight violence against children, specially young girls. They will make poems, drawings, recitals... on how to fight against
violence against girls, and will be awarded.
Asociación Latinoamericana de Educación Radiofónica (ALER)
La Asociación Latinoamericana de Educación Radiofónica (ALER) fue creada en 1972, cuando 18 radios de la iglesia católica deciden asociarse. Estas emisoras venían alfabetizando a distancia, especialmente en el campo. Al juntarse buscaban mejorar la planificación y evaluación de los programas educativos, capacitar al personal de las emisoras, encontrar apoyo económico internacional, entre otros objetivos. La radio puramente educativa pronto cambió.
