The Colombian Association of NGO's Email Communication  - Colnodo - is a non-profit which seeks to facilitate and enable new information exchange dynamics to connect Colombians with global information networks and to generate new tools and spaces for paricipation through the use of information and communication technology (ICT), in order to contribute to improving Colombians' quality of life. Colnodo was founded in 1994 to provide organizations working for development in Colombia an electronic communication system that would help them to exchange information, making it one of the first online electronic services of the country. Since then, Colnodo has served more than 500 social organizations in Colombia and the region.
